Privacy Policy

Floral Quality Group respects your privacy and handles personal data with care. This statement explains which data we collect through our website floralqualitygroup.nl, why we do so, how long we retain them and what your rights are.

Who we are

Which data we collect

Contact form

When you fill in our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name (optional), topic and message. We use this data solely to answer your enquiry.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (answering your enquiry).

Retention: we keep your message no longer than necessary to handle your enquiry, up to a maximum of twelve months.

Job application form

When you apply through our vacancies page we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name (optional), your motivation and up to two PDF files (CV and motivation letter). This data is sent to us by email and is not stored on the server separately; the files are deleted from the server immediately after sending.

Legal basis: your consent, which you give by submitting the form.

Retention: we keep application data for up to four weeks after the procedure has ended. If we wish to keep your data longer, for instance for future vacancies, we will ask for your separate consent. In that case we retain them for up to one year.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to info@floralqualitygroup.nl. After withdrawal we will delete your data within two business days.

Nordic Foliage contact form

The Nordic Foliage page on our website has its own contact form. It collects your name, email address, subject and message. Processing is the same as for the main contact form described above.

Webshop login

Our login page lets you access the webshop at shop.floralqualitygroup.nl. Your credentials are sent directly to the Florisoft webshop. We do not store or process them ourselves. For the webshop privacy policy we refer you to Florisoft.

Cookies and tracking

We do not place cookies and do not use any tracking or analytics software on floralqualitygroup.nl.

Third-party services

Our website uses the following external services:

• SendGrid (Twilio Inc., US) for sending emails from the forms. SendGrid processes the data you submit as a processor on our behalf. Twilio is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
• Google Fonts (Google LLC, US) for loading typefaces. When you open a page your browser connects to Google servers, sharing your IP address. We use Google Fonts solely for displaying text, not for tracking. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
• CDN services (jsDelivr, unpkg, Cloudflare) for loading small components of the website. Your IP address is shared with these services in the process.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised use, loss or access. The connection to our website is encrypted via HTTPS.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:

• access your personal data (right of access);
• have your personal data corrected (right to rectification);
• have your personal data deleted (right to erasure);
• restrict the processing of your data (right to restriction);
• object to the processing of your data;
• receive your data in a structured format (right to data portability);
• withdraw consent at any time.

You can submit a request by sending an email to info@floralqualitygroup.nl. We will respond within thirty days.

If you disagree with the way we process your data you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example when our services or applicable legislation change. The most recent version is always available on this page. We recommend checking this statement regularly.
